Dan White

Dan White is a producer, composer, and bandleader based in Brooklyn, NY currently performing with bands including Huntertones, Cory Wong, and Kurt Elling SuperBlue. He was featured most recently on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert in the house band and with Rachael and Vilray. 

White was born in Cleveland, OH and grew up in Western New York. He would go on to graduate from The Ohio State University with degrees in music education and jazz performance. During his time at OSU, he met the founding members of Huntertones. Huntertones began preforming legendary house shows in the basement of their Hunter Avenue apartment, which grew to regular gigs at Dick’s Den and Natalie’s. 4 albums later, they continue to tour the world performing in over 25 countries. Now in their 10th year, they continue to grow their international fanbase while remaining dedicated to the city where it all began, often collaborating and recording in Columbus, Ohio. Their latest release, Time to Play puts listeners in the front seat of a highly collaborative epic musical joyride.

Dan White’s compositions and arrangements have been played by orchestras, marching bands, and big bands all over the world. He has performed with Snarky Puppy, Vulfpeck, Lake Street Dive, Allen Stone, Andy Grammer, and Charlie Hunter.
