Dinner Music Experience!

Hosted in our upstairs private room

Unlike other “background music” venues,
we present a private “concert” experience, front and center.
Therefore, for the consideration of other guests, we ask that you
please consider not conversing loudly during the performance.


You may arrive between 5:30 to 5:45.
The evening features a special four-course dinner served with the live performance.
The first two or three courses will be served between 6:00 and 7:00.
The concert performance begins at 7:00.
If you are unable to arrive at 6:00, please let us know
and we can make arrangements to accommodate you.

Byron Rooker Clarinet, flute & sax, Collin Lazarski, guitar,
and Doug Richeson on bass

This quarter was formed with the love of this style of music “Gypsy Jazz”.  The members of this quartet have a refined knowledge and background of the Golden Period of American Jazz. We perform the American Standard Classics along with French Classics that were made popular by Django Reinhardt and Stefan Grappelli and many other Jazz Greats.

Byron Rooker, Saxophone, Clarinet and Flute:  Has over fifty years experience as a professional musician. Byron performs in a wide variety of settings ranging from Jazz to Rock & Roll, to Broadway shows and Classical music. He is the Lead Alto Sax with the “Columbus Jazz Orchestra” and is a Founding Member of C.J.O.

Mark Rubinstein, Pianist and Accordion:  Mark performs Internationally with many Greats such as: Jazz Flutist, Herbie Mann, Jazz Bassist Eddie Gomez, Klezmer Juggernaut Big Galut(e), Saxophonist Bunky Green and European Tours with critically acclaimed songwriters Dirk Hamilton and George Carver. Mark is also Audio Engineer for the School of Music at O.S.U., where he oversees recording activities and teaches courses in Audio Production.

Colin Lazarski, Guitaist: Performs and teaches in Columbus.  He performs often with local artists such as: Dave Powers, Andy Woodson, Tony Monaco, “Vaughn Weister’s Famous Jazz Orchestra”, “The Columbus Jazz Orchestra”. Colin leads the “Trinidaddies” and is a member of the “New Basics Brass Band” and the “Jesse and the Royal Tycoons”.

Douglas Richeson, Bassist: Douglas has performed, toured and recorded with such Greats such as: Tony Bennett with the “Ralph Sharon Trio”, ”Phil Collins Big Band”, New York guitarist, Gene Bertoncini, Baritone Sax, Gerry Mulligan, Saxophonist Harry Allen, Maureen McGovern, Columbus Symphony Pops, Cincinnati Jazz Pianist Phil DeGreg. You can hear Doug performing in Columbus with “Speak Easy” along with Guitarist Tom Carroll and Violinist Andy Carlson. Doug is also Principle Bassist with the Newark/Granville Symphony Orchestra. You can hear Doug on recordings with Tony Bennett: “Steppin Out”, “Here’s to the Ladies” and “M.T.V. Unplugged”

Phil Collins Big Band, “A Hot Night in Paris”, He currently freelances in Columbus and Cincinnati and also teaches Bass at Denison University School of Music. —-

This is a set menu served for the event, however we are able to make adjustments in advance.
We do not take dinner orders during the event.
