Columbus’ most intimate
Dinner Music Experience!

Hosted in our upstairs private room

Unlike other “background music” venues,
we present a private “concert” experience, front and center.
Therefore, for the consideration of other guests, we ask that you
please consider not conversing loudly during the performance.

You may arrive between 5:30 to 5:45.
The evening features a special four-course dinner served with the live performance.
The first two or three courses will be served between 6:00 and 7:00.
The concert performance begins at 7:00.
If you are unable to arrive at 6:00, please let us know
and we can make arrangements to accommodate you.

Kittel & Co!

“Some of the most engaging people I’ve ever worked with have a real vision while being willing
to explore—following, rather than dictating, the creative energy.”
— Jeremy Kittel

Previously of the Grammy-winning Turtle Island Quartet, Kittel has been a composer-arranger-collaborator for such diverse artists as My Morning Jacket, Yo-Yo Ma & the Silk Road Ensemble, and Bela Fleck & Abigail Washburn. He blazes through a Bach violin partita as easily as a Scottish reel, bringing the same intense focus and precision to both. For the last few years the Michigan native, now based in Brooklyn, has been diligently building his own repertoire of music for a wholly original new group.

This Kittel and Co. show features mandolin phenom Josh Pinkham (named “the future of the mandolin” by Mandolin Magazine) transcendent cellist Nathaniel Smith (as heard with Sarah Jarosz and Kacey Musgraves), and hammer-dulcimer wizard Simon Chrisman (acclaimed for bringing a new tonal flexibility to the instrument).

Kittel & Co’s highly anticipated new album is set to release early next year on Compass Records.

“Kittel’s group… takes the string band tradition to marvellously rarefied levels of collective virtuosity. Playing a repertoire from bluegrass to Bach to a strathspey and reel set… [they] sounded thrillingly spontaneous. …Taking traditional music forward.”

-Times UK

“…Powerful band of cutting edge string players. It’s a rare group that can go from zero to sixty in a spilt second while also weaving such subtle textures into his compositions. They draw you in and then blow you away.” –Tim O’Brien

“A conspicuously original blend of genres… As fleet fingers fly, aromas of far-flung musical traditions appear and vanish like musical will-o’-the-wisps…  virtuosic improvisation at its very highest level…” -Berkshire Edge

“The music Kittel is making now has all the precision and virtuosity of the best classical players, but the wonderfully devilish, explosive drive of the best string bands.”  – Devon Leger, HearthMusic
