Australia: D’Arenberg Winery!
Saturday, October 13th 12pm-3pm
One of the undisputed kings of Australian Shiraz and Rhone varietals, d’Arenberg has managed to turn individuality into an art form by doing a whole lot of little things differently. The original vineyards were established by Joseph Osborn in 1912 in the McLaren Vale region of South Australia.
“The dynamic, gifted Chester Osborn makes an amazing array of wines in McLaren Vale, Australia from his gorgeous assortment of value-priced offerings to his high-octane Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz.”

d’Arenberg Hermit Crab, 2016
91 p Wine & Spirits
The 2016 vintage of this combination of Viognier and Marsanne is bright and exotic. The wine’s tropical fruit, citrus peel, and savor herbs pairs it nicely with a fisherman’s stew.
d’Arenberg Stump Jump GSM, 2015 12.99
A flavorsome, easy drinking style, ripe and juicy with lovely soft tannins and a savoury, earthy touch.
d’Arenberg Custodian Grenache, 2012 19.99
A real hidden gem from this switched-on producer based in the McLaren Vale. This wine has the full range; earth, cinnamon spice, blueberry, cherry and plum.
d’Arenberg Laughing Magpie Shiraz/Viognier, 2013 29.99
Dark brooding fruit is apparent on the nose with earth, spice and dried herbs. The palate is round and luscious with an attractive black olive and sage. This wine has fantastic fruit weight, with great supporting tannin and balanced acidity.
d’Arenberg High Trellis Cabernet Sauvignon, 2013 19.99
Matured in French oak (10% new) for 22 months. Excellent, vibrant crimson-purple sets the tone for a wine that over delivers in both varietal and regional terms; it is positively bright and juicy, with cassis and blackcurrants.
