Meet Clayton - Refectory Sommelier
Clayton Young grew up in Dublin, Ohio—just a short drive from The Refectory Restaurant, where he began his hospitality career eight years ago. He’s since worked nearly every front-of-house role and recently stepped into the position of Sommelier. Though his academic background is in the arts, software development, and cybersecurity, Clayton discovered a passion for wine early on and earned his Level 1 certification from the Court of Master Sommeliers. Over the past year, he’s embraced wine service and education, finding joy in pairing wines to elevate the dining experience.
Now leading the wine program at the restaurant where it all began, Clayton is excited to share his enthusiasm with each guest!

Because of our expertise with wine, for many of our guests, we supply and deliver wine for numerous events. If you are planning a gathering, give us a range of per bottle price and we will make recommendations.
